In accordance with the requirements set by President Ilham Aliyev to turn the liberated territories into a "green energy" zone, the reconstruction, repair and restoration work has been completed at two small hydropower plants in Sugovushan.

During the visit, the head of state and family members attended the opening of the Khari Bulbul Hotel in Shusha after reconstruction. They got acquainted with the conditions created in the 48-apartment building and cottages at the Khari Bulbul Hotel.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited the administrative building where the Special Representation will be located in Shusha. The President and the First Lady were informed about the restoration work.

Later, a new mosque was laid in Shusha with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva. The mosque with two minarets and a dome decorated with mosaics was designed together with Azerbaijani and Italian architects.

After inspecting the area in front of the palace of Natava khan gizi in Shusha, the head of state and family members drank water from the spring while visiting the "Khan gizi" spring.

Mr. President, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva also got acquainted with the work done in the building of the Shusha Creative Center and the Shusha Art Gallery.

At the same time, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of secondary school No. 1 in Shusha.
